The Regulation Doublet predates the Prince Charlie style of jacket, the major difference being the Inverness Flaps. Enjoying something of a renaissance in recent years, the Regulation Doublet has the double benefit of looking smarter and more formal than a Prince Charlie or Argyll. So stand out from the crowd with this classic kilt jacket. It comes in three standard colours: black, bottle green and navy blue; with a 3-button vest. This doublet is worn for formal occasions with a black bow tie.
Size: 42 Regular. Material: 100% wool.
This can also be worn with a tartan vest. The rule of thumb is that tartan worn above the waist (vest) or below the knee (hose) should be on the diagonal.
