The Argyll is a traditional one-button fastening kilt jacket, with gauntlet cuffs and scalloped pockets. It is the standard day-wear kilt jacket and versatile for a variety of daytime and semi formal occasions. This iconic jacket has been the gold standard in Highland wear since the nineteenth century. 

This jacket can be worn with or without a five button waistcoat, but is usually accompanied with a belt and buckle set when a waistcoat is not worn. 

If wearing this jacket with a necktie then it should be worn with a necktie of a plain colour to compliment the kilt. Tartan ties are generally worn by Pipers and Drummers.

Sizing: Our jackets are made in Scotland and are sized differently than in North America. We recommend that you come in to be fitted, if possible.
