Argyll Tweed Jacket - Lovat Blue

The Argyll is a traditional kilt jacket, with gauntlet cuffs, scalloped pockets and epaulettes. It is a standard day wear kilt jacket and versatile for a variety of daytime and semi-formal/business occasions. This iconic jacket has been the gold standard in Highland wear since the nineteenth century. 

This jacket can be worn with or without the five-button waistcoat, but is usually accompanied with a belt and buckle set when a waistcoat is not worn. 

This jacket is on consignment and is made of Lovat Blue Tweed with a one button (stag horn buttons) closure. It was custom tailored by J.B. McAuley in Scotlandl and is in very good condition.

Size: 40Regular UK Jacket only.

If wearing a necktie with this jacket, it should be of a plain colour that complements the kilt. Tartan ties are generally worn by pipers and drummers.
